From an initiative of the Brazilian business men of the franchising sector, ABF (Brazilian Franchising Association) has been designated by the group to organize and develop an export program franchises. In 2004 the cornerstone of the project was launched in 2005, with the support, encouragement and guidance of Apex-Brazil, began the first agreement of its kind in the sector of Brazilian franchising. Over these nine years of work, the entity and entrepreneurs visited more than 35 countries on all continents, participating in the most important fairs of the sector and exploratory missions.
Besides the acquisition of knowledge and experience, many businesses were developed, leading Brazilian concepts to different parts of the world and generating foreign exchange for the country. Today 121 Brazilian brands export their concepts and brands to 60 countries and this is just the beginning. With the start of the activities of this 5th round of the project, new franchisors will begin their internationalization process.
